Kayak, Coastlines and Azure Seas Explore the Remote Islands of Indonesia.
Take to the water to explore the Indonesian archipelago by kayak. With over 17,000 islands, there are endless opportunities to discover the hidden gems of the island nation.
Enjoy a leisurely paddle to the remote islands of the Banda sea, where palm-fringed beaches beckon travelers to play in the crystalline turquoise waters. We’ll have time to snorkel local reefs teeming with brilliant colored fish before heading back to the boat.
We’ll kayak along mangrove forests finding shade under their canopy. Mangrove forests have their own ecosystem that provides a unique backdrop to view endemic species of birds as well as flora and fauna. Birdwatchers will revel in the sights of the multi-colored kingfishers, snow-white egrets, hornbills, to name a few. If fortune is on our side, we can trek inland to find the Bird of Paradise.
Raja Ampat, a Unesco World Heritage site, is an exquisite underwater paradise! Home to one of the highest concentrations of diverse marine life in the world and calm protected water makes this a kayaker’s dream. Paddle through the spectacular scenery of mushroom-shaped islands jutting up from the ocean contrasting against brilliant shades of azure seas. We’ll find a secluded beach to stretch our sea legs and time to discover the underwater world of brightly colored coral reefs bursting with a myriad of fish and sea life. Kayaking adventures are customized to our guests’ preferences, age, and itinerary. Please speak with one of our experts for further details.
